LaingBuisson Awards 2022
The Soke is delighted to have received nominations in three categories of the prestigious LaingBuisson Awards, 2022.
The LaingBuisson Awards celebrate businesses that set new standards of excellence within their industries. Now in their 17th year of recognising excellence, they are judged independently and objectively and focus on the people providing the care as well as their advisors.
This year, the LaingBuisson Awards received an impressive number of submissions from across the UK reaching an all-time high of 649 submissions.
Finalists in three categories
The Soke has been shortlisted as finalists in the following three categories:
1. Clinical services – Hospital
Excellence in the provision of acute or mental health services with a focus on innovation and differentiation as a result of an individual hospital initiative or investment
2. Management Excellence
Excellence in management of a company which has delivered exceptional clinical or patient outcomes, financial results and employee engagement.
3. Rising Star (Maryam Meddin, CEO and Founder of The Soke)
A rising star in the world of healthcare and/or social care.
The Soke, launched in October 2021, is an integrated, multi-disciplinary private mental health centre that aims to change cultural norms with respect to the acceptance of psychiatry, psychotherapeutic and coaching services as an essential and aspirational faction of wellbeing. It was rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission in January 2022.
This private mental health centre not only puts the experience of its clients, staff and practitioners at the forefront of its strategy, it looks equally to the needs of the wider community through its charitable arm, The Soke Foundation, of which Maryam Meddin is a Founding Trustee.
The Awards Ceremony takes place on the 17th of November and will be hosted at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London.
