Head of Adult Therapy
Before joining The Soke, Dean worked at The Priory where he grew the therapy programmes offered from one service into six and introduced a DBT programme, mindfulness, drama, 3rd wave therapies, equine therapy and Transactional Analysis to the organisation. He is known for his experience, compassion and approachability.
Dr Shadi Shahnavaz,
Head of Family Therapy
Shadi has over 25 years of experience in her specialised field of Systemic Family Therapy. With consistency in her care and clarity in her approach, she is able to work towards positive outcomes with clients of all ages.
Shadi practices fluently in English, French, Swedish and Farsi.
Holli Rubin,
Head of Wellbeing
Holli is a qualified psychologist, social worker and therapist and takes an integrative approach to mental health. She is well recognised for her holistic approach, combining physical with psychological interventions to derive the optimal outcome for her private and corporate clients.
Kathryn Dombrowicz,
Addictions & Eating Disorders
Kathryn has immense experience and a sterling reputation for her work around addictions and eating disorders.
Kathryn developed the Adolescent and Adults Eating Disorder Service, as well as the Addiction Service, at The Priory and was known for successfully designing and delivering therapeutic and clinical programmes for the organisation. She is known for her innovative, multi-disciplinary approach to working with clients struggling with addictive behaviour - be it in relation to food, alcohol or substances - and utilises a range of skills including hypnotherapy, NLP EFT and EMDR to achieve a desired, sustainable outcome.
Dr Katherine Coutsoudis,
Chartered Psychologist
Katherine is a Chartered Psychologist offering Schema Therapy and CBT for both adults and adolescents. She is considered to be an expert in the care and treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Before joining The Soke Katherine was part of the clinical team at The Priory, Roehampton, and developed her expertise in both short and longer term approaches, working with addiction as well as in forensic settings.
Daniel Burbidge,
Couples & Infertility Specialist
Daniel is an integrative psychodynamic psychotherapist experienced in working with people suffering the unhappiness and/or insecurity brought about by personal history, trauma or simply as a result of living and working within pressurised environments. Additionally, he works extensively with couples facing challenges in their relationship.
Daniel is a member of the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA). This part of his work entails the provision of support and counselling through all aspects of infertility and fertility treatment, including IVF, Donor and Surrogacy. His clients are individuals and couples (heterosexual and same sex).
