UNDERSTANDING ANXIETY AND MOOD

Introducing The Soke’s 4-week evidence-based course for adolescent groups inspired by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) starting Monday 14 November, 5pm-6.30pm

Is your teen struggling? Does your child seem anxious or low?

Would your child benefit from learning coping strategies to manage their emotions and wellbeing?

Who is it for?

Is your child…

  • feeling low or depressed

  • anxious

  • frightened

  • stressed

  • struggling at school

  • having difficulty at home

  • not functioning as normal

The group is ideal for adolescents (15- 17 year olds) on a waitlist, or to complement and enhance their existing individual 1:1 work.

The referring clinician/parent will receive a weekly update.

The Soke’s 4-week group for adolescents (15-17 years of age) is designed to help young people understand and equip them with tools to manage anxiety and mood instability.

What will they learn?

Your child will be psycho educated. The course will use goals and cover values, behaviours and mindfulness skills. They will experience a guided discovery to interpersonal skills and assertiveness.
